Franchise

We are always looking for savvy business owners to share the Sherpa Kids dream.

Sherpa Kids is a rewarding business where you can make a difference!

Operating a Sherpa Kids franchise is not only financially rewarding, but is also emotionally rewarding, because every day you can:

  • Work with children in your area, providing structured supervision via before school, after school and vacation care services
  • Build relationships with our most precious cargo – kids!
  • Have fun, listen to stories, learn, laugh and cry!
  • Help kids increase their confidence
  • Watch them develop and learn.

What a couple of our current franchisees have to say:

“After reading about Sherpa Kids online earlier this year, I decided to contact them with a view to finding out more about the company and how becoming a franchisee might be a route forward in my career.  I had worked in the field of education most of my life and I also had some business experience, so it seemed like a great opportunity.

I initially spoke with Jan, the Franchise Development Manager, on the phone and, after submitting an initial interest form, myself and my partner arranged to meet Vicki in Manchester to discuss the possibility of buying a franchise for Sherpa Kids, one of the first in the north of England.  The meeting was successful and 2 weeks later, we decided to go ahead, recognising that there was great potential in the area around my home in Lancashire for Sherpa Kids to develop its services.

After 2 days business training in Manchester at the end of August 2018 with Vicki, I was ready to draw up my territory and within it my list of large primary schools for Jan and myself to work on over the next few months.  Happily, by the end of October, one of the schools on my list expressed an interest in a meeting with myself and Jan.  This took place toward the end of November and I have now submitted a proposal to provide services in the school. At the time of writing, I am awaiting the go ahead to hopefully start providing a Breakfast and After School Club service at the school from February 2019.  As well as this, Jan and I have secured another meeting for January 2019 with a second school from my territory, so this is a very pleasing and exciting result.

I am extremely pleased that I decided to become a franchisee.  It was obviously an ideal move for me, having been involved in the education sector for so long.  However, I do believe that it would be an intelligent move for anyone wishing to make an investment due to the fact that Sherpa Kids is a very professional company who support and guide you through the whole process.  Both Vicki and Jan have been amazing and have always been one step ahead, giving me advice and helping me at every turn.  Jan flew up to Manchester for the meeting with my first school and gave me tremendous support.  It is undoubtedly in large part due to the hard work and professionalism of these two ladies, that my experience with Sherpa Kids has very quickly been so fruitful and rewarding.”

“From my initial contact with Vicki Prout in 2014, I have been so impressed by the support and guidance I got from the Sherpa Team. In fact I was away when a school approached Sherpa about their service which happened to be in my territory and Vicki did all meetings and secured the school while I was away. I come from a totally different background to childcare and with the training I got with Sherpa Kids, I can now call myself very experienced with Childcare. Ongoing support is so good. Just need to send an email or pickup the phone and help/advice is on the other side. I have expanded and bought a new territory recently, which I would not have done if support wasn’t available. There is no way anyone cannot succeed with support by Sherpa Kids.”
